I made a self extracting package which has to restart itself after installing required components. On windows 98, after the system is rebooted, the installation application is not restarting. Its working pretty well on win2K. I have the registry key runonce properly set to setup.exe. But still failing in win 98. Any idea?

Sorry I cannot help you with the W98 problem, but maybe you could help me since you are using self extracting files also.
When I install from a self extracting file all works well and the install completes successfully. When I then use add/remove programs, I get a popup screen asking for the setup.ini file in the already gone temp directory? Any help for me here????
