How do I set the KeyPath from the automation interface when the KeyPathValue is File?

I'm not sure that I'm interpreting your question right, but if you have an ISWiComponent object, you can just set the keypath to the InstallShield file name (F####_foo.txt), and set the keypath type to kptFile or 0x02.
