Hi all
After going through all the forums and googling, i am not able to find topics like "how msiexec works" or a presentation on windows installer. If some body knows it please share the link with me.

I know there are some good books by wilson and Bob but right now can't buy them.

So is there any site where in i can find how msiexec works?

or a seminar or presentations regarding this topic, that can be downloaded.

I went through all the sites u mentioned and even downloaded Mikes Book, but here also again he has not explained in detail.

But Bobs book with sample chapter 4 was good i feel. He has clearly explained how standard installer works. And the topic about msiexec he has covered in chapter 3 which is not shared.

I think i willhave to buy one of those books. let me see whether my firm does it for me.

And please let me know if any other sites are there where in i can get to know how msiexec works
