Hello,
My problem is: MDAC 2.5 on Windows 2000 doesn't work correctly after the installation of our product.
The project has merge modules : comdlg32, mfc42, msvcrt, mscomct2, comcat, oleaut32, msstdfmt, mswinsck, msrdo20, tabctl32, msvbvm60, mscomctl.
This project doesn't install MDAC.
Does anybody know what is a reason of this conflict?
May be this project overwrite some files from MDAC.
Any suggestion would be great appreciate.

MDAC 2.5 is part of the Windows 2000 operating system. In theory, Windows File Protection should prevent you from making modifications to MDAC. Which components of MDAC are not working? Have you tried including the MDAC 2.6 merge module to fix the problem?

Looks like didn't work OLE. It occur on the machine with Windows 2000 Service Pack 2. The version number of MDAC is 2.52.
We don't use MDAC as a merge module for our product because some customers don't want to update MDAC.
