hello
when i use scheduledreboot action, i thought it gets a response from the operating system and display a message.
and the one of the reason for this action is caused by changed files in system.
however, it there such a case that system files (i am using merge modules) always get replaced during install??
i am experiencing some strange behavior that relates to reboot.
(1) after i install my product for 1st time, installer prompts to reboot. (here i assume that some system files have been changed)
(2) then i remove this program then install this again, it prompts again to reboot.
what would be the cause of this behavior other than changed system file??
(is windows replace original system when i remove my application??)
thank you

If a system file needs to be updated, the reboot request will happen automatically. You don't need ScheduleReboot for this.
Schedulereboot will always request a reboot. It should be used in situaltions where you need a reboot, e.g. because of something a custom action is doing.
