In Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs | <My Installed App> | Support Information, there's an item called "Product ID" with the value of "None."  

I can't figure out how to either add a value to it, or to get rid of it altogether.  I know it can be done because IS7 and others don't have it in their support info popups.  

Any insight on how to do this will be greatly appreciated.  And type slowly :-) ... I'm an IS novice.

Hi,
This information goes from the registry key [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE]\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Uninstall\[YourProductCode]. You can delete the "Product ID" value from this registry key.
