Hi there,
I have an msi Installshield project that I succeed to build.
The installshield project is located on a mapped drive on the network: drive1.
But when I copy the msi project to another drive: drive2 on the network, I can t build my new copied msi project, i get errors saying that it can't find files.
I use installshield software on only one specific machine. the version is 11.5

What kind of paths do you use to include files in the project? Relative paths? Absolute paths? UNC paths? Most likely u use either absolute or UNC paths. When moving the project you then need to change the value of the root path variable in your project to point to the new location.

If u mean in path variables, when I check the files in setup design, it says for some files:
Path_To_....... that has the valued of myMamppedNetworkDrive\...etc
and some other files have the path:
new path variable that has also a value of MyNetworkDrive\.....etc
and one file is in: IsProjectFolder that s also mapped to a network drive.
is there any where i should check
