Hi, there,

I encountered a error message when I install my package under Winnt 4.0 SP6, the message dialog is followed:



My project is InstallShield 10.5 InstallScript MSI Project. I have no idea about this issue, dose anyone could help me, thanks a lot.

There is a known problem similar to this for "Basic MSI" and "InstallScript MSI" projects, but as far as I know not for pure "InstallScript" projects. Anyway you may want to try the hotfix:

Thanks for your reply. It's successful to install my project under win98, winme, winnt, win2k, winxp. Thanks again.

BTW, when I install this package in the host computer (WinXP SP2), which means the machine that has InstallShield installed, it will encounter the following dialog. What is it?

Looks like there's a problem installing the device driver for your smart card reader...
