Hi,

I have created exe using installshield 6.2 .

while running the exe in windows 7 , Installation completes successfully . But It shows the "This program might not have installed correctly , try reinstalling using settings that are compatible with this version of windows " message .

How this can be fixed .

Thanks in advance,

The Program Compatibility Assistant might appear if a program or driver doesn't register correctly during installation, so I would recommend comparing the installation results (both files & registry entries) between say XP and W7.

You may end up just having to run the setup in Compatibility Mode by default though or acknowledge that "This program installed correctly" when the PCA dialog appears.

For more information, check out this PCA FAQ from Microsoft.

Thanks for the reply .
I checked with the registry entries and file entries . Its updated correctly.
PCA dialog is appeared only during reinstall.

ComponentReinstall() is called in OnMaintUIBefore function .
