I've got a Release version, and a Trial version, chosen by VS's configuration menu.
I'd like the Release version to uninstall the Trial version automatically instead of
telling the user to do it through the control panel.
I tried changing the Release Setup Version to 1.1.0, and accepting the new Product Code.
Now it doesn't complain about a previous version, just seems to install the Release version ..., but doesn't really.
The Trial Version is still there, even though RemovePreviousVersion is true.

Auto uninstall a trial version ?

Generate a log file to see if the FindRelatedProducts action detects the older version. Also look at the value of the PREVIOUSVERSIONSINSTALLED property in the log. Is the InstallAllUsers value (ALLUSERS property) the same for both versions?
