hello everyone
i am trying to copy these set of files to windows' system32 folder.
however, it does not let me overwrite existing files. how do i force this to overwrite without any warning messages?

On newer Windows versions you cannot replace files that are part of the operating system because of Microsoft's System File protection. This is by design. Install a Windows Service Pack to update these files.

Well, if you map you own C$ as network drive you can change files "locked" by the OS. Works fine for me on NT and XP.

jfa, needless to say this is just a hack, and hence not a recommended thing to do. DLL's come in sets, and replacing one without the others is never a good idea. Protecting against this is what windows file protection is all about.
