When we build a release, a directory gets created called "409" which contains our splash screen bitmap, which we placed via the IDE in "Support Files->Splash Screen->English".

When we build a release we get the following:
Disk1\setup.exe
Disk1\*.cab
Disk1\MyProject.msi
Disk1\409\MySplashScreen.bmp <<< Can this "409" directory be changed to something else?

Is there a way to change the name of this directory to something more meaningful?

This is using Developer 8.0 with Service Pack 2

Thanks,

This is the language code for English (0x0409). I don't think there's a way to change this.
Maybe you can use a language independent splash screen instead?

Excellent. By placing the file not in English specfic, but rather in language independent, it places the support file on the same directory as setup.exe when the release is built.
the 409 directory is nowhere to be seen!
Thank you very much!
