Hi there!
I need to analyze the .ilg file of an installation from an installation script, because I need to know how many times the installation has been run. I read that it is possible to treat the log as an object from the script but I couldn't find any information how to do it!
Does anybody know where I can get some documentation?
thanx

You can find some information here on InstallSite under IS5/6 Samples -> Uninstallation -> Modify Uninstall Log File

Thank you Stefan, that's a good first step!
Where can I find some information about the LOG object which is used there? Is there a way to access the log file of another installation with a different GUID (the GUID is known in the script)?
