I've created a new component and placed some gif images in it. The new component is named by the path to the gif files.
BUT, when I install my program they are not saved in the destination folder. And not anywhere else, as I can see.
Why wouldn't this work?
My attributes to the component:
Shared: Yes
Permanent: No
Remote Installation: Favor Local
COM Extract at build: No
.NET scan at build: Dependecies and properties
.NET installer class: No
.NET COM Interop: No
.Net Precompile Assembly: No
Languages: language Independent
Reevaluate Condotion: no
Never Overwrite: No
64-Bit component: No
Opareting System: OS Independent
The other attributes are not activated.
Is there anything else I nedd to do?

Just a note.
When I created the component I right clicked on my mouse and create new component. As it says in the helpfile..

Is the component included in any feature?

Yes, it's included in a feature.
It works now. After I closed Installshield and run it again everything works fine.
