Hi,
I have created a quick patch using the Developer 8. My base kit has some Custom Actions. The base kit also developed using Developer 8.
My problem is while applying a quick patch the CA which are defined in the base kit got called. So it affects the functionality of the base kit.
I am not clear on this behaviour.
How the quick patch got the information of the CA and from where it calls those CA ?
Can anybody help on this?
Thanks in Advance.........
Gaurav

Installing a patch means modifying the database and then re-install/repair the product with the new data. So your install package will run in reinstall mode.
If you don't want to run your custom action use a condition, such as:
Installed
to makeit run only during first time install.

Hi,
I have already used that condition in my base kit.
I don't have a provision to control the execution of the CA in Developer 8's Quick Patch project.
Is there any other way to control CA execution thro Developer 8 Quick Patch project ?
Thanks,
Gaurav
