Hope anybody can help me, this is ver urgent
I created an Installation with INSTALLSHIELD 8 (uses MSI) and MSI doesn't overwrite some files.
I managed to find out that OCX and DLLs need a version, that works now, but .DOT Files and some others are not overwritten even if date and size have changed.
Does anybody has any answer for this ??!

Try setting REINSTALLMODE=AMUS property.

Also try making the .dot as the key path (if you have many files make as many components for each and the file as the key path)
