Hi i using Installshield X.

I have to use the spanish version of ADO 2.8, but the merge modules are in english. ¿There is a way to start my Setup.exe and if there is not find the file "msadox.dll" in "C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Ado" then call for MDAC_TYPE.exe (ADO 2.8) to install the spanish version of ado? ¿like a custom action?. Please i am a novat can show me a example step by step.

The install Setup.exe would be from a CD so i have the a copie of MDAC_TYPE.exe in the root of the CD so i can call the ADO 2.8 exe from that path.

Instead of a merge module you may want to use the "setup prerequisite" (also in redistributables view). Form the tools menu you can make your own prerequisites, so it should be easy to make a Spanish MDAC based on existing MDAC.
