I have created a custom action that renames a directory during an install. The action is fired when you click the 'Next' button an a particular Dialog and based on a property value. IS there anyway to set this action to run when passing command line options to msi for a silent install? This is version 8 Developer.

Sure, just put it in your exec sequence as well and make it install on condition of a public property that you pass at the command line.

Or instead of using a property passed at command line you may use 'UILevel' property.
