Hello,
Kindly help me in this.
I have vendor msi and i need to upgrade the previous version.
Product version of older msi is 2.3.3.3 and product version of newer msi is 2.3.3.4
But windows installer checks till 3 decimal point.
and
Both the msi r having same product code.
So while upgrading it gives me an error as older version of product is already installed.
Anyhow i need to upgrade older version of package.
Is there any other way to upgrade package rather than changing version.

You can perform a minor update:
msiexec.exe /i your.msi REINSTALL=ALL REINSTALLMODE=vomus
msiexec.exe /i your.msi REINSTALL=ALL REINSTALLMODE=vomus
