A shortcut pointing to \\server\geocalc\geocalc.exe drops the geocalc.exe when installing to a NT PC, but works fine on win95 win2K
the target in the icon component is [GEOCAL]\geocalc.exe GEOCAL is defined as geocalc wiht the parent dir New_Property1 in the directory table New_Property1 is defined as Server vairable from local PC
On win95/2k this produces a shortcut that points to \\abzinfr002\geocalc\geocalc.exe
on NT this produces an shortcut that points to \\abzinfr002\geocalc
I have also tried using \\abzinfr002\geocalc\geocalc.exe as the target for the shortcut and on NT it also drops the geocalc.exe
does any one know of a work round/fix for this?
is it a bug in msi engine for Nt or in NT?
Any help much apreciated.
