Hi,

I have a patch created from IS 2009 (pure installscript project) which is been migrated from Installshield 11.5 to Installshield 2009 gives error during uninstallation from ARP.

Please find the steps that has been followed:
1. Created a pure Installscript project in IS 11.5 (Say A)
2. Installed the main installer (A)
3. Migrated the project from Is 11.5 to IS 2009
4. Created a patch (IS 2009) (Say B)
5. Installed the patch over the main installer (B over A)
6. Uninstalled the patch (B) from ARP

Result: The installer fails to uninstall with an error 5009.

I still use a homegrown patch mechanism as the built-in method hasn't always existed and even under that approach, I wouldn't try mixing IS versions, so I can only recommend that you do the same here. Especially given your reported issue. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
