Hi
Could you please let me know whether Microsoft VC++ 2003 runtime and Microsoft VC ++ 2005 runtime Objects/Merge Modules available to include in IS 11.5 InstallScript Objects ?
If they are available, could you please let me where to pick them so that these objects appear in "Objects" pane of IS 11.5 InstallScript project type ?
Please let me know your ideas !
TIA
Srika

I don't know. Did you look in the download section of macrovision.com ?

I prefer to install things like this as a setup prereq these days. My time spent as an enterprise engineer trying to create seperate patch strategies for things like GDIPlus and SQLSlammer made me believe it's best to stick with the official MS packages and let MS handle it.

Hi
Thanks Christopher and Stefan.
I got the .msms for VC++2005 runtime from one of my Developer here.
I am still looking for VC++2003 runtime mergemodules. But for now, we have decided not to include VC++2003 runtime as a mergemodule.
anyways, thanks for the help !
