I am observing a strange behavior in some systems after my installation is complete. The same installation starts automatically at regular intervals.
I monitored this using FILEMON utility and found that it is using setup.inx file under Windows TEMP/<PRODUCT CODE> direcoty and a msi file under WINDOWS\INSTALLER directory.
The msi file belongs to my installation and the file is renamed to something like 2961d1dc.msi. This is not the original file name but contents are same.
Is it because of some cleaning up problem after the installation.
Any idea how to stop these popups?
