Are you experienced with driver installation, DPinst, driver .INF files, and/or the plug-and-play process? if so, we sure could use a little help right now. Problems with this are holding up a product release for our small company. At the very least, I'd like to ask you a few questions; at the most, this could easily turn into a paid telephone consultation. Please respond if you think you might be able to help.

In recent years, I have been using the DifXApp merge module: it makes life much easier. Search AppDeploy.com for DifXApp. It's been done to death there.
