Ganapathi,

Can you be more explicative.  I am not sure what you mean by add only the root folder.  Are you trying to create Components with Dynamic Links?

Gana,

If you are trying to create a component which contains all files in a Folder not including Subfolders do the following:

1.  Go to the Setup Design view
2.  Create a Feature (if you already haven't)
3.  Create a Component (if you already haven't)
4.  Under the component in the tree view click on "Files"
5.  Click on "File Linking"
6.  In the white space under Link Type, right -click and choose New Dynamic Link.
7.   This will present you with the "Dynamic File Link Settings" dialog box.

This dialog will give you the option to include the whole folder with or without subfolders and a few other options.

Hope this Helps
