I am trying to do a major updgrade. Everything goes very well except that there are two entries in ADD/REMOVE programs.
I changed the following between the previous and my current new version
1) Product Code, 2) Package code, 3) Product version, 4) Files version, 5) created an updgrade table also.
Give me some hint on this pls..................

If you changed the product code then it is quite correct that there are two entries in Add/Remove.
By changing the product code you are saying that the ew version is a completely separate product from the old version.
I think that in your case you should leave the product code the same, but you will still need to change the package code, especially if you plan to build a patch between the two versions.
