While displaying sdcomponentdialog , the individual disk space required for each component is correct.But the total disk space required display is totally wrong which is supposed to be the sum of individual spaces required.
Any solutions or suggestions?

Its is not supposed to be the sum of the components. It will also include the size of the setup support files. And in case of a modify install it will onyl display the space that is need for any components that have been selected in addition to the previously installed.

Just to add to the above commnet, if you change the project GUID, then run the project, the size required will show correctly. I would only advise this in a development environment, but it will work.
