But what append with a patch, how can i know wich patch my customer sould install, if i have 16 versions of my product ? For me,all client have one installation for real use, and one installation for upgrades test for example ?

Thank you for your help, it's a very important problem for me. I could'nt have one install of my application on one server.

You would probably have the same number of patches, so you can control which of the installations will get patched.
