( using IS 6.31 )
How easy is it to upgrade an english installation to chinese, japanese, and other languages ?
How does the language pack work ? do they simply replace/add languages to the default setup ?
Is it worth it using IS 6.31 or is it easier with IS 7 ?
Thanks.
Max.

You have to do custom dialogs if you use the _isuser.dll in your script. You will have to send off your eng value.shl (preferable once it is not changing). Remove all text in the script and in property pages that can be put into the string table (value.shl). You have go into the project settings and pick which all languages support and rebuild the media after you have dropped in your xlated value.shls.

Lang packs are pretty straight forward and not to long to setup; but you do have to do one (east), then the other (west) I believe. Basically, they add the _isuser.dll for each langauge in the IS app dir.

Would like to see answers on this one too; I only use <7.
