Hello,

I have Windows Installer 1.5 version. And one of the log file from my setup says

Build type: SHIP UNICODE 1.10.1029.01

I read in Stefan's article regarding updating to Msi2.0 which says "Note that the new Setup.exe should not be used to distribute MSI 1.2, and cannot be used with previous versions of InstallShield for Windows Installer."

Do I update to Msi2.0 ? Which version I am using rightnow ? Is it 1.5 or 1.10.1029.01 ?

Looks like you are using version 1.1 of the Windows Installer (MSI) runtime files. This version is independent from the version of InstallShield for Windows Installer (the authoring tool) you are using, which I guess is 1.5.
