I am new to installshield, and have meet some problems.
Is it possible for installshield to install an application which can be init
after installing and run permanently. however, it is not a service,
just an application. Thanks a lot.

You can launch your installed application from the setup. There's a checkbox for that on the SetupCompleteSuccess dialog, and I think it's described in the help.
