Macrovision has announced an official product end-of-life policy for their installation tools. On November 1, 2005 they are going to retire a couple of old products, which means that there will be no more fixes and no more support for those old versions, not even paid support contracts. However Macrovision will continue to support not only the latest version of their products but also several previous versions, such as Developer 8, Professional 7, and MultiPlatform 4.5.
