Major Upgrade Stalls during removal of previous installation. No error messages in logs. Yet same Major upgrade will install perfectly fine if no previous installation exist, since it doesn't have to go through removal process. Pervious installation can be removed independently just fine. HELP. I have attached logs file.

Try the ! option to make sure every log line is immediately flushed to disk to get a more complete log file.
There have been reports of various upgrade and patching issues with the "InstallScript MSI" project type. My general recommendation is to avoid it and use "Basic MSI" instead.
