Hi

In Add Remove Programs I want my applications to be preceded by the Company Name so that all my apps are grouped together making them easy to see.

e.g. <Company Name> - <Product Name>

This was easy using Installscript I just set the system variable UNINSTALL_DISPLAYNAME to whatever I wanted.

But MSI uses the ProductName property to populate Add Remove programs so if I change it I see it in several places where I do not want the company name as well as the Product Name.

Does anyone know a way?

Hi

Could I write a Custom Action to reset the Product Name after its been used in the initial User Interface screens but before the ARP stuff is set up and then set it back again? Or would this mess things up?

You could change your dialogs to use a different property instead.
