For my sins (which must have been awful) I have got the job of adding a new data
file to a windows CE application.
The project uses InstallSheild 6.31 and contains a single component which contains a single object:
an InstallShield object for WIndows CE.
Right clicking on this takes you too a wizard which lets you define.
Where your source files are, and where they should go on the target device.
When I add my new file and compile and rebuild the mdeia it all appears to work
well except..
... my file is not actually delivered.
Can anyone tell me why?

Sussed it.
When you run your new set up on the PC hosting the mobile device it seems to deliver old data files.
If I used active sync tyo delete my application on BOTH device and host PC and then re-run my setup executable I get my new files installed.
Bizarre to deliver a new distribution but still get some old cached one deployed?
