Look, since this is an InstallShield problem and the problem (apparently) doesn't happen with 6.2/3, why don't you spend a little time writing a converter which takes an install app produced using one of the buggy versions (6.0/1 I believe) and converts it to 6.3.

I guess with "you" you mean InstallShield Software Corp. Remeber that this site (and forum) is not the official InstallShield web site (you won't find any information about that problem there), nor do I work for InstallShield. So you may want to go to http://www.installshield.com and use the feedback button to let them know what you think.

Sent InstallShield a bug report. When they respons (if?) I'll make the suggestion.
