A customer is having a problem during the self-registration step. None of the ~15 .ocx files are able to self-register, although all of the ~15 .dll files apparently are able to self-register.
The first error window that appears says:
"OleMainThreadWndName: IKERNEL.EXE - Invalid DLL Entrypoint" followed by an explanation that the stack pointer has been left in an inconsistent state.
This 6.1 installation has been fairly thoroughly tested in the past; others including myself have used this exact version of the installation with no problems.
The customer is in Asia and I don't have real-time access to his system; I'm trying to give as good guidance as possible through email.
Any ideas?
