Hi all,
In the old versions of installshield there was a text file (..\String Tables\0009-English\value.shl) to which all the string table was written.
In insatllscript MSI project a similar file exists (String1033.txt).
Is there any way to make such a text file in InsatllScript object project.
THANKS

Hi all,
The solution is inside the *.ism file which is an XML file and all the string table is kept in it.

I believe that all information is kept inside the project file. You can see it's content in the Direct Editor in the IDE.
If your project file format is set to XML (you can find this setting in the General Information setuon of your project) then the .ism project file will be stored in XML format, so you could access this information.
You can also export the string file to a txt file, modify it, and import it. This may even be possible using the automation interface (but I'm not sure about this)
