Hi,
I want to configure my setup to automatically perform a repair when reinstalling. The reason is only in repair the ControlService actions are performed.
Is there a property to configure the default runmode when running silently? Or is there a special command line to install the app on the first call and repair on cuccessive calls?
Thanks,
Bernd

You don't want your users to be able to uninstall?

Stefan,
the user should be able to do anything he want when running the setup interactivly.
But if I start the setup in silent mode I want to perform a repair instead of a reinstall.
The setup is automatically started from a system service to install a remote agent and the software (same version) might already been installed on the machine.
If there is already an old version it should perform an update.

A repair is a reinstall. Yuo could set
REINSTALLMODE=vomus REINSTALL=ALL
REINSTALLMODE=vomus REINSTALL=ALL
