We've compiled an MSI package and distributed it to different computers. At those compures our application has already been installed using our home-brewed setup program. The installation completed everywhere all right except one computer running XP Service Pack 1 v5.1 Build(2600). The message box appears:
Error 1309. Error reading from file <full file name with path>. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.
That mentioned file did already exist under that location, it wasn't opened, and there were sufficient rights to modify it under the logged account (which had administrative rights).
Could you please advise how could we overcome the problem?
