By editing the fgl file you can use more wildcards than the IDE offers.
So I was asking myself, if there is a way (by editing the fgl file?) to use dynamic file groups in IS 5.1 too.
I hope there is at least one other answer than "no way" ...

In IS 5.5x you can use dynamic file groups.
By editing the fgl file you can use more wildcards than the IDE offers.
So I was asking myself, if there is a way (by editing the fgl file?) to use dynamic file groups in IS 5.1 too.

The dynamic file group functionality was new in 5.5, it's not possible that way in 5.0 or 5.1. But in IS 5/6 Tools -> Components and File Groups there's a tool that can dynamically generate .fgl files for IS 5.
