Does anyone know how to change the title of the dialog when you first start up an install.

It is the dialog that searches the system for the windows installer I think.

I don't believe there is a call to that dialog in the script anywhere.

I am using ISD7 and using a standard setup project.

Thanks

By dialog title do you mean the text in bar on top of your dialog, if so just change the Caption field on your dialog in the editor.

Yes I was referring to the Caption in the title bar.
However the dialog in question is not in the dialog editor.
It is the dialog that pops up first before any user interaction occurs.

I believe that it is searching for the installed version of the Windows Installer.

Have a look in Setup.ini. For English, I modified entry 1101 which had the desired effect of modifying the "InstallShield Wizard" caption.

I dont know how you build your installation build you could copy a modified "setup.ini" to you build directory before burning a CD image or however you distribute your product.
