Hi,
I try to launching an exe in a Custom Action. Until now it worked properly but now I updatet to IS7.04 and the error came. I want to install on a workstation with NT4SP5; on the W2K machine the installation works fine.
Has anyone an idea? Thanks!

it might be the msi version on the NT4 SP5 system. what version of msi is on the NT box ? have you tried updating to newest ( v2.0.2600.2 ) ?

Hi,
Msi version 2.0 requires NT4 SP6. If IS7.04 needs msi v2.0 so you should install service pack 6 on NT4 machine, then update msi to v2.0.

unfortunately I need NT4 with SP5 (SP 6 is not allowed). That means the Windows Installer has to be Version 1.2
