Custom dialogs Options hideing.

Hi Stefan,

While installation time i want to hide the second option in the custom setup dailog. (This feature and all sub features ,will be installed on local hard Drive.)

Can any one tell me how to hide the second option in feature tree.


Stevan is it possible .i saw some installtions they are hideing the second option.
Please tell me how to hide the second option.

As far as I know it's not possible to hide only the "and all subfeatures" (using Windows Installer's dialog functionality - you could build your own external UI though). See http://www.installsi...etupOptions.htm

Is it possible to cahnge the INTALLLEVEL while installtion timen ,based on the return value in basic msi project.

You can set the INSTALLLEVEL property of your msi package. To change the InstallLevel value of a feature you should use feature conditions, but these are evaluated during CostFinalize.
