Hi,
I'm quite novice at building MSI.
I'm using Installer Design Studio.
I'm having a problem to replace the oleaut32.dll in the system32 folder
At install I get an Installer Information Window saying that "the windows installer service cannot update the system because the file is protected by windows"
I only have an OK and Cancel Button. Either way of course the file is not replaced.
When reading the MSI Help, I found the information that I should get a FilesInuse Dialog with an ignored button that will automatically schedule a reboot and replace the file when the system restarts... but that doesn't happen....
Can anyone give me a hint..
Thanks in advance.

The problem is not that the file is lcked (held in use by another process). But the file is part of the operating system, and can only be updated by installing a OS update/service pack.
