What is a multi-volume cab and what is a single-volume cab!

I'm not sure but I'd guess that a single volume CAB si a CAB that contains all of your application data in one CAB. A multi volume CAB would be generated if your data don't fit on a single diskette, so multiple CABs need to be created, one for ech diskette.
