Hi all
I am using IS12 Professional.. Basic MSI (NO kind of Scripts)
Can i be able to write some registry values through CA (i dont want VB script or Jscript CAs)
Or from the dialog can i be able to write Registry values.(I believe from events or subscriptions or what ever)
The CA/Dialog need to write one registry value in HKLM
Is it possible ??
Thanks

The easiest way to write registry values is by adding the entries to a windows installer component. You can make the value dynamic by setting the registry value equal to a windows installer Property. For example to write the machine name to a registry value set the registry component entry to have the value [ComputerName].
