The attached Word doc has an example registery entry created when two installations are installed. When one installation is installed the is a major key and a sub key under it. When another installation is installed a second sub key is created under the major key. The major key has values in it that were first created when the first installation was installed and the values are updated by the second installation. When one of the installations that create the sub keys is uninstalled the values of the major key are removed, it doesn't matter which installation if uninstalled. Is this normal behavior? Is there a way to prevent this from happening until all installations associated with the major key are both uninstalled?

I dont thinkt that is the correct behaviour. It should leave the major key if there is still another subkey under it.
IS there a wildcard in the RemoveReg table?
Also, try logging the uninstall and see what that shows
