When ever I try installing Java 2 Runtime Environment(or any other Jave programs) just before it tells me to agree to the license agreement another box pops up and says, Internal Error: 2318. C:\Documents and setting...\Contents.IES\Q4FTDKFJ\j2re1.4.2_6-b03[1]msi. I even tried to delete that j2re1.4.2_6-b03 thing but another just comes up. How do i fix this??

2318 means "file does not exist". Maybe the temporary msi file that you are running from gets deleted before your setup is completed?

First try to find out what's really happening. Did you verify the existance of the file while the error message is on the screen?
FileMon from SysInternals may also be of use to find out why the file disappears.
