Hi all,
I'd like to do this :
- Unzip the external file (zip format or CAB format)
- This file contents the data.
- After unzipping, I must copy these directories, files into harddisk

I don't know how to do this

Many thanks for your help

There are DLL libraries and similar tools (I believe some are freeware) for unzipping files that you could use.

Enter "unzip DLL" or "unzip library" in your preferred internet search engine. That's what I would do anyway, sionce I don't have any links at hand.

Don't unzip as part of the setup. Instead implement the unzip as part of your first application launch. With the main application EXE you have much more control of the unzip operation in terms of exception handling, and you ensure that the unzip is happening in the context of the right user. Just install the zip files to a per machine location and then have the application unzip the files to the required destinations in the user profile. Add a flag to the registry for the user in question when the unzip is completed.
